Summary:
The Laboratory Animal Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the veterinary medicine team by providing comprehensive care and management of laboratory animals. Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, or a related field.
2. Certification as a Laboratory Animal Technician (LAT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
3. Strong knowledge of veterinary nursing principles, including animal behavior, anatomy, and physiology.
4. Experience working with laboratory animals in a research or clinical setting.
5. Proficiency in administering medications, performing injections, and conducting basic diagnostic procedures.
6. Familiarity with surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
